Does my course expire?

In many cases the course does not expire, you can check expirations dates on the home screen of your course at any time (2). When you get closer to expirations a banner (1) will also show up.

States that require course expirations:

Illinois

  • Adult Driver Education
    • The Division of Motor Vehicle requires that all courses and final exams must be completed and passed within 30 days of content start date. If the course is not completed you will be directed to start a new course.

Ohio

  • Driver Education
    • The Bureau of Motor Vehicle requires that all courses and final exams must be completed and passed within 180 days from content start date. If the course is not completed you will be directed to start a new course.
    • Note: The BMV also requires that you do no more than 2 hours of course work without a break so ensure you do not wait until the last minute as this course will take most users over 12 days to complete.
