The Driving Manager is a great tool that parents and students can use as a guide on completing their 14 hours of in-car observation. Think of it as a handy task list, designed to help you hit all the points of drivers ed so that your student is a safe and responsible driver.
The list is categorized into different stages of driving, so it’s easy to cover the area of each topic. For example, there’s a section for before starting the ignition, with tasks like a safe-vehicle inspection or checking/adjusting mirrors. Helpful explanations eliminate ambiguity, so both you and your student can understand the goal of each task.
*Note: The Driving Manager is only available on the app in the parent account. The Driving Manger is not mandatory. It is a supplementary tool Aceable provides to help guide parents and students through the behind-the-wheel instruction hours. Your student doesn’t need to go through the Driving Manager to complete their course and receive a Certificate of Completion from Aceable.
The Driving Manager in the app looks like this:
You’ll see descriptions of what a parent should be going over with their student during the in-car observation hours. You can slide the toggle on the right-hand side from white to green to check off the tasks you’ve completed. If you prefer to have a hard copy of the Driving Manager, you can download it from below:
