Why do I have to submit an affidavit before starting the course?

In addition to verifying students’ identities, the state of Ohio also requires Aceable to verify parents’ identities. A parent’s identity is validated using their personal information. If your parent fails validation, they are required to submit a paper affidavit form to Aceable. Unfortunately, this isn’t something Aceable can override. It’s one of those state requirements we have to follow. Your student cannot begin working on the course until you submit the affidavit form to us. Simply email the completed notarized affidavit to support@aceable.com.

You can download a copy of the Parent Affidavit below. We strongly discourage mailing the affidavit since it will take a lot longer for us to receive it and there is always the potential that it could get lost in the mail.
